Lieutenant General Rajesh Pushkar, AVSM, VSM, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of Kharga Corps, reviewed the operational readiness of Kharga Sappers during a visit to the formation.
During the review, Lt Gen Pushkar assessed the preparedness of the Combat Engineers and was briefed on their capabilities, operational tasks, and ongoing initiatives. He lauded the formation for its spirit of innovation and effective absorption of modern technologies in the execution of complex combat engineer tasks.
The Army Commander commended the professionalism, adaptability, and technical proficiency of all ranks, noting that such attributes are critical for ensuring mobility, counter-mobility, and survivability on the battlefield.
Reinforcing the Corps’ ethos, Lt Gen Pushkar expressed confidence in the Kharga Sappers’ ability to overcome all challenges, remarking that for the formation, no obstacle is too wide.
