Lieutenant General A V S Rathee, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Konark Corps, reviewed and lauded the initiatives undertaken at the Konark Corps Technology Centre, highlighting its role in upskilling personnel and in-house capability development for future conflicts.

During the visit, Lt Gen Rathee appreciated the Centreโs focus on technology infusion, innovation, and indigenous solutions aimed at enhancing operational effectiveness. He noted that such initiatives are critical in preparing the Army for high-tech, multi-domain warfare, where agility, digital proficiency, and rapid adaptation are decisive.

The GOC underscored that the Technology Centre stands as a testament to the Atmanirbhar Bharat vision, showcasing how grassroots innovation and in-house development can reduce dependence on external sources while accelerating capability enhancement at the formation level.

The review reaffirmed the Indian Armyโs emphasis on self-reliance, modernisation, and skill development, ensuring that formations like Konark Corps remain future-ready, technologically empowered, and capable of meeting evolving security challenges with indigenous, cutting-edge solutions.
