Lt Gen AVS Rathee, General Officer Commanding of Konark Corps, visited the Black Mace Brigade to review its operational, training, and administrative preparedness. During the visit, the Corps Commander assessed the brigadeโs readiness levels and commended its focused efforts to incorporate New Generation Equipments (NGEs) and New Technology Equipments (NTEs), including drones.

He also lauded ongoing research and development initiatives in the domains of robotics and artificial intelligence, noting that such measures are critical to ensuring future readiness and operational superiority in the evolving landscape of modern warfare.

Lt Gen AVS Rathee also reviewed the operational readiness and administrative preparedness of the Battle Axe Division. He praised the formation for its high combat effectiveness and the innovative implementation of niche technologies tailored to meet the technological demands of modern warfare in a multi-domain operational environment.
The visits underscored the Indian Armyโs continued emphasis on technology-driven transformation, innovation, and preparedness to counter contemporary and future security challenges with agility and precision.
