Air Marshal B Manikantan, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Central Air Command, recently visited Air Force Station Bakshi Ka Talab in Lucknow. On arrival, the Air Marshal was presented with a ceremonial Guard of Honour. During the visit, he reviewed the stationโs operational readiness and assessed ongoing activities critical to maintaining high levels of preparedness. As part of the visit, he also undertook a sortie in the Kiran Mk II aircraft, gaining firsthand insight into flying operations and training standards at the station.

Interacting with officers, air warriors, and trainees, Air Marshal B Manikantan commended all ranks for their high morale, professionalism, and steadfast commitment to duty. He appreciated the dedication displayed by personnel in sustaining operational effectiveness and emphasised the importance of discipline, training excellence, and teamwork in meeting current and future challenges.

The visit reaffirmed Central Air Commandโs continued focus on operational readiness, safety, and professional excellence across its formations.
