The Advance Materials Management Course culminated at the Military College of Materials Management (MCMM), Jabalpur, on 04 February 2026, marking the successful completion of a specialised programme aimed at strengthening modern logistics capabilities.
The course was attended by officers from the Indian Army and the Indian Navy, along with four officers from friendly foreign countriesโSri Lanka, Nepal and Bhutanโreflecting the growing emphasis on multinational cooperation and shared best practices in military logistics.

Designed to address contemporary and future challenges, the course provided participants with comprehensive, cutting-edge insights into ordnance inventory management, information technology applications, and ammunition management, all of which are critical enablers for sustaining operations in complex and high-tempo environments.
Delivering the closing address, Brigadier Rahul Kumar, Officiating Commandant of MCMM, highlighted the courseโs vital role in enhancing logistic readiness for mission-critical operations. He emphasised that efficient materials and inventory management forms the backbone of operational success and is indispensable in modern warfare.

At the conclusion of the course, Major Hemant Kumar Saxena was adjudged the Overall Best Student for his exceptional academic performance, professional competence, and all-round excellence throughout the programme.
The successful conduct of the course reaffirmed MCMMโs role as the Indian Armyโs premier institution for training logistics professionals, contributing directly to improved operational preparedness and sustainment capability of the Armed Forces.
