Lt Gen RC Tiwari, Army Commander of the Eastern Command, visited the Officers Training Academy Gaya from 05 to 06 February 2026 to review training standards, administrative functioning, and ongoing infrastructure development.
During the visit, the Army Commander was briefed on various aspects of officer training, academy administration, and infrastructure upgrades aimed at enhancing the training environment and improving facilities for officer cadets. He expressed satisfaction with the progress achieved and lauded all ranks for maintaining consistently high standards of training.

Addressing officers and officer cadets, Lt Gen RC Tiwari highlighted the ethos of the Indian Army as โA Way of Life.โ He emphasised that military service demands integrity, discipline, selfless commitment, and continuous professional development. The Army Commander urged the cadets to aspire to become professionally competent, morally upright, and inspirational military leaders capable of meeting future operational challenges.

The visit reaffirmed Eastern Commandโs focus on excellence in officer training and leadership development, underscoring the Indian Armyโs enduring commitment to preparing future leaders with the highest standards of professionalism and character.
