Lieutenant General Prasanna Kishore Mishra, AVSM, YSM, SM, General Officer Commanding (GOC), White Knight Corps, visited forward areas in the Naushera Sector to undertake a comprehensive review of the prevailing security environment and operational preparedness along the Line of Control.
During the visit, Lt Gen Mishra interacted with troops deployed in rugged terrain under challenging operational conditions. He was briefed on the high state of readiness of the units, intensive training regimes and enhanced measures adopted to sharpen surveillance, precision engagement and overall combat effectiveness in forward areas.
The GOC commended the troops for their unwavering resolve, professionalism and steadfast commitment to duty while operating in a sensitive operational environment. He appreciated their sustained efforts in maintaining operational dominance and ensuring the security of the Line of Control.
Lt Gen Mishra emphasised the imperative of relentless vigilance, uncompromising preparedness and continuous pursuit of professional excellence to decisively counter emerging threats. The visit reaffirmed the White Knight Corps’ focus on operational readiness, force preparedness and mission effectiveness along the LoC.
