Lieutenant General Prasanna Kishore Mishra, AVSM, YSM, SM, General Officer Commanding, White Knight Corps, along with the GOC Counter Insurgency Force (CIF) Romeo, visited the general areas of Potha and Thanamandi to conduct a comprehensive review of the prevailing security environment.
During the visit, Lt Gen Mishra assessed the ground situation and interacted with commanders at various levels to gain firsthand insight into the operational dynamics of the area. He evaluated the operational preparedness, deployment posture and readiness of units tasked with maintaining security and stability in the region.
The review focused on ensuring unwavering vigilance, absolute readiness and sustained dominance on ground to effectively counter emerging security challenges. Emphasis was laid on maintaining a robust counter-terrorism grid and proactive operational posture to secure lasting peace.
Commending the troops for their professionalism and commitment, the Army Commander reiterated the resolve of CIF Romeo and White Knight Corps to serve and protect the nation, reinforcing the Indian Army’s steadfast dedication to safeguarding peace and security in the region.
