Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, Army Commander Northern Command, visited the Air Movement Control Centre and Logistics Hub at Leh to review the advanced logistics infrastructure supporting troops deployed in the remote and high-altitude border areas of Eastern Ladakh.

During the visit, the Army Commander was briefed on the role of the logistics hub in sustaining round-the-year operational readiness through efficient air maintenance, rapid troop movement and timely delivery of critical supplies in challenging terrain and extreme weather conditions.

Lt Gen Sharma closely examined contemporary material handling and logistics management practices being adopted to meet the demands of modern warfare. He appreciated the personnel for effectively leveraging advanced techniques to ensure reliability, speed and resilience of the logistics chain.
Interacting with officers and troops, the Army Commander commended their professionalism and dedication, urging them to continue their exemplary service in enhancing operational efficiency and combat capability in one of the most demanding operational environments.
