Air Marshal B Manikantan, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Central Air Command, recently visited Air Force Station Memaura to review its operational preparedness and ongoing development initiatives.

On arrival, the Air Marshal was accorded a ceremonial Guard of Honour. During the visit, he reviewed the station’s operational readiness, upgrades to its Air Defence systems, training demonstrations and progress in infrastructure development. He also inaugurated the newly constructed Station Community Hall, aimed at enhancing welfare and community engagement.

Interacting with air warriors and civilian personnel, Air Marshal Manikantan commended the station for its unwavering dedication, high standards of professionalism and commitment to duty.

He underscored the critical role of Air Force Station Memaura in ensuring credible and robust air defence preparedness, reinforcing the Indian Air Force’s capability to respond effectively to evolving security challenges.
