Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, Army Commander Northern Command, chaired a high-level meeting in Srinagar to review the evolving security situation in the Kashmir Valley.
During the interaction, the Army Commander engaged with Formation Commanders and representatives of sister agencies to deliberate on prevailing security dynamics and coordination measures. The discussions focused on strengthening the counter-terror grid, enhancing inter-agency synergy and ensuring proactive operational readiness to address emerging challenges.

Lt Gen Sharma emphasised the importance of sustained vigilance, seamless coordination and mission-focused operations to maintain peace and stability in the region.
Reaffirming the resolve of Northern Command, he underscored the Indian Army’s steadfast commitment to ensuring the safety and security of the citizens of Jammu and Kashmir.
