Vice Admiral Sameer Saxena, AVSM, NM, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief (FOC-in-C) of the Southern Naval Command, visited INS Agrani, Coimbatore on March 5, 2026, to review the training infrastructure and programmes conducted at the establishment.

During the visit, the Flag Officer assessed various training facilities and instructional systems designed for the professional development of the Indian Navy’s senior sailors.

Vice Admiral Saxena commended the personnel at INS Agrani for maintaining high standards of training and professionalism, noting that quality training is essential for building a skilled and capable naval workforce.

He emphasised that continuous improvement in training methodologies and standards plays a crucial role in ensuring sustained operational readiness and mission effectiveness.
