A total of 41 newly commissioned officers of the Army Medical Corps (AMC) successfully completed the Non-Technical Post Commissioning Course on 18 March 2026 at the Officers Training College, AMC Centre & College.

Rigorous Training for Leadership Roles
The 14-week intensive training programme equipped officers with essential skills in administration, logistics and leadership, preparing them for roles such as Quartermasters, Administrative Officers, Logistic Officers and Company Commanders.

Address by Commandant
The closing ceremony was addressed by Major General VK Patra, Commandant, Officers Training College, AMC Centre & College, who exhorted the officers to uphold the highest standards of service, compassion and dedication in their careers.
Awards and Recognition
Lieutenant Hirak Kalita was awarded Best in Academics and Overall Best Course Officer, recognising his exceptional performance during the course.
The successful culmination of the course underscores the Indian Army’s commitment to developing competent, professional and compassionate leaders in military healthcare services.
