Surgeon Vice Admiral Arti Sarin, Director General Armed Forces Medical Services (DGAFMS), visited Military Hospital Jodhpur on 19 March 2026, marking a significant boost to military healthcare infrastructure.

Boost to Diagnostic Capabilities
During the visit, the DGAFMS inaugurated a state-of-the-art BSL-2 facility at the VRDL laboratory, enhancing next-generation diagnostic capabilities for timely and accurate detection of diseases.

The Flag Officer also reviewed the 24×7 Crèche and Early Intervention Centre, appreciating the hospital’s efforts in providing holistic and compassionate care for differently abled dependants.
