Vice Admiral Tarun Sobti, Deputy Chief of Naval Staff (DCNS) of the Indian Navy, visited the Indian Naval Academy and interacted with officer cadets, delivering a lecture on key concepts of naval operations.
Addressing the future leaders of the Navy, Vice Adm Sobti spoke on the evolving nature of maritime security challenges and the importance of adaptability, professionalism, and strategic thinking in modern naval warfare. He encouraged cadets to prepare themselves for the dynamic operational environment and uphold the highest standards of service.

During the visit, the DCNS also reviewed new developments in training infrastructure at the academy. He appreciated the efforts of the training staff in enhancing the quality and capacity of officer training in line with the requirements of a rapidly expanding and technologically advanced Navy.
