Lieutenant General Girish Kalia, General Officer Commanding of the Spear Corps, visited the Mantripukhri and Keithelmanbi Garrisons of IGAR (South) in Manipur to review the operational preparedness of deployed formations.

During the visit, the Corps Commander assessed key aspects of readiness, including security arrangements, force deployment, and response mechanisms in the sensitive region. The review focused on sustaining high levels of vigilance and ensuring effective operational capability.

Lt Gen Kalia also interacted with personnel across all ranks, appreciating their dedication and commitment in maintaining stability under challenging conditions. He commended the troops for their professionalism, discipline, and readiness.
