Air Marshal B Manikantan, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Central Air Command, recently visited Air Force units in Lucknow, including Air Force Station Bakshi Ka Talab and Air Force Station Memaura.
During the visit, the Air Marshal carried out a comprehensive review of operational preparedness, peacetime functioning, and ongoing capability enhancement initiatives at both stations.

Air Marshal Manikantan interacted with air warriors and commended them for their professionalism, dedication, and unwavering commitment towards maintaining high operational readiness and promoting a positive work culture.

At Air Force Station Bakshi Ka Talab, the Air Marshal also inaugurated several welfare facilities aimed at improving the quality of life for personnel, including Single Officers’ Accommodation and a new Station Gymnasium.

He appreciated the sincere efforts of all personnel in executing assigned responsibilities with professionalism and efficiency, while emphasising the importance of readiness, welfare, and capability development in supporting the mission objectives of the Indian Air Force.
