Lieutenant General CG Muralidharan, Director General Medical Services (Army) and Colonel Commandant of the Army Medical Corps (AMC), visited the Trishakti Corps and its medical units on May 16, 2026, to review operational medical preparedness and healthcare infrastructure.
During the visit, the General Officer was briefed on the operational capabilities of the medical establishments and the healthcare services being delivered in remote and challenging operational areas.

Lt Gen Muralidharan inspected various medical facilities and interacted with medical teams responsible for providing combat and peacetime healthcare support to troops deployed across diverse terrains.
Addressing the personnel, he emphasised the importance of integrating advanced technology with compassion, professional excellence, and patient-centric care to ensure world-class healthcare delivery within the Armed Forces.

The DGMS Army commended the medical units for their cohesive functioning, high morale, and steadfast preparedness in delivering effective combat medical support under demanding operational conditions.

The visit highlighted the continued commitment of the Indian Army and the Army Medical Corps towards maintaining robust medical readiness and quality healthcare support for troops deployed in strategically important regions.
