Military Hospital Jabalpur achieved a significant healthcare milestone with the formal inauguration of its Blood Component Licence facility, enhancing advanced transfusion care and patient safety services.
With the new licence, the hospital now joins a select group of zonal military hospitals equipped to provide modern blood component separation and specialised apheresis procedures.

The upgraded facility will enable safe, quality-driven, and patient-centric component therapy while ensuring optimal utilisation of valuable blood donations and improved clinical outcomes for patients.

Officials stated that the capability would significantly strengthen critical healthcare delivery for serving personnel of the Indian Army, veterans, and their families.

The initiative also reinforces the commitment of the Army Medical Corps towards adopting modern medical practices, enhancing transfusion safety standards, and delivering advanced healthcare services across military medical establishments.
