The Indian Military Academy (IMA) successfully conducted Exercise Shatrunash, a tactical training exercise designed to prepare Officer Cadets in offensive defence operations and battlefield leadership.
The exercise provided the cadets with realistic operational exposure aimed at enhancing tactical planning, combat decision-making, coordination, and leadership skills under simulated battlefield conditions.

Marked by high levels of enthusiasm, determination, and “josh”, the young future officers successfully accomplished the demanding exercise and achieved yet another important milestone in their military training journey.

Exercise Shatrunash reflects the continued emphasis of the Indian Army on developing physically robust, mentally resilient, and tactically proficient leaders capable of meeting the challenges of modern warfare.

The successful completion of the exercise further reinforced the spirit of teamwork, discipline, operational preparedness, and professional excellence among the Officer Cadets of IMA.
