The Training Command of the Indian Air Force has been awarded the prestigious Gold Rajbhasha Shield in the Inter-Command Rajbhasha Shield Competition for the year 2025, recognising its outstanding implementation and promotion of the Official Language.
The award was presented to Air Marshal S Srinivas, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Headquarters Training Command, by Air Chief Marshal AP Singh during the Commanders’ Conference held at Air Headquarters on May 22, 2026.
The Inter-Command Rajbhasha Shield Competition is organised annually by Air Headquarters to encourage the effective use and promotion of Hindi in official work across various commands of the Indian Air Force.
Training Command earned the top honour for its exemplary efforts in implementing Rajbhasha policies, promoting the use of Hindi in administrative and operational activities, and fostering greater linguistic integration within the organisation.
Officials stated that the achievement reflects the command’s sustained commitment to advancing the objectives of the Official Language Policy while ensuring efficient communication and administrative excellence.
The award further highlights the Indian Air Force’s continued emphasis on encouraging the use of Hindi in official functioning and strengthening the implementation of Rajbhasha across all levels of the service.
