Lieutenant General P K Mishra, General Officer Commanding of the White Knight Corps, accompanied by the GOC of Counter Insurgency Force (Romeo), visited the Gambhir Mughlan area to review the progress of Operation Sheruwali and assess the operational situation on the ground.
During the visit, the Corps Commander was briefed on the operation’s overall design, ongoing actions and sustainment measures being undertaken in the challenging terrain. He also reviewed the logistics framework supporting troops engaged in the ongoing hinterland operations.
The briefing covered various aspects of operational preparedness, force deployment and support mechanisms aimed at ensuring mission effectiveness in the area.

Lt Gen Mishra commended all ranks for their resilience, professionalism and meticulous execution of assigned tasks. He lauded the troops for maintaining a high level of operational readiness while conducting sustained operations in difficult conditions.
The Corps Commander noted that the high morale, unwavering focus and determination displayed by the troops continue to drive the operation forward and contribute to maintaining security and stability in the region.
Officials stated that the visit underscored the Indian Army’s continued emphasis on operational effectiveness, robust logistics support and sustained counter-terrorism efforts across the hinterland areas of Jammu and Kashmir.
