ADG NCC Uttar Pradesh Interacts with Cadets During Visit to 7 UP Naval Unit NCC, Varanasi

Senior NCC officer reviews training standards, motivates cadets and conducts interactions for All India Nau Sena Camp 2026 selection.

The Additional Director General (ADG), NCC Directorate Uttar Pradesh, visited the 7 UP Naval Unit NCC and NCC Group Headquarters Varanasi, where he reviewed training activities and interacted with cadets as part of an official visit aimed at promoting excellence in NCC training and leadership development.

Upon arrival, the ADG was accorded a ceremonial Samman Guard by Naval Wing cadets, reflecting the discipline and professionalism maintained by the unit.

During the visit, the ADG held an engaging and motivational interaction with cadets, highlighting the importance of discipline, leadership, character development and national service. He also spoke about the diverse career opportunities available in the Indian Navy and encouraged cadets to pursue excellence in their chosen fields.

A key highlight of the visit was the conduct of interactions and interviews for the selection of cadets for the prestigious All India Nau Sena Camp (AINSC) 2026, one of the flagship national-level training camps organised by the NCC.

The ADG appreciated the enthusiasm, confidence and commitment displayed by the cadets and commended the high standards of training being imparted by the unit. He praised the professionalism and dedication of both cadets and instructors in maintaining the NCC’s core values and traditions.

During the visit, the Commanding Officer briefed the ADG on the unit’s ongoing training programmes, achievements and the selection process being followed for AINSC 2026. The briefing highlighted the unit’s consistent efforts towards nurturing leadership qualities, maritime awareness and overall personality development among cadets.

The ADG acknowledged the unit’s contribution in preparing young men and women to become responsible citizens and future leaders, while also strengthening awareness about the Armed Forces and opportunities for national service.

Officials noted that the visit served as a morale booster for the cadets and reinforced the NCC’s mission of developing disciplined, motivated and socially responsible youth committed to nation-building.

The interaction concluded with the ADG expressing confidence in the cadets’ potential and encouraging them to continue striving for excellence in all spheres of life while upholding the values of the National Cadet Corps.
