Lieutenant General Antonio Conserva, Chief of Staff of the Italian Air Force, called on Air Chief Marshal A.P. Singh, Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), during his official visit to India.
The high-level meeting focused on strengthening bilateral defence cooperation and expanding military-to-military engagement between the Indian Air Force (IAF) and the Italian Air Force.
During the discussions, the two Air Chiefs exchanged views on issues of mutual strategic interest, including avenues for enhancing professional interactions, operational cooperation, training exchanges and collaboration in areas of shared importance.
The interaction reflected the growing defence partnership between India and Italy and underscored the importance of sustained engagement between the two air forces in addressing evolving regional and global security challenges.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to deepening defence ties through increased cooperation, knowledge sharing and institutional exchanges aimed at enhancing interoperability and mutual understanding.
The visit of Lt Gen Antonio Conserva marks another step towards strengthening India–Italy defence relations and reinforces the shared commitment of both nations to promoting regional stability, professional military cooperation and long-term strategic engagement.
