Mrs Komal Seth assumed charge as the 25th President of the Army Wives Welfare Association (AWWA), marking the beginning of a new chapter in the organisation’s commitment to the welfare of serving soldiers’ families, veterans and Veer Naris.
On assuming office, Mrs Seth expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Mrs Sunita Dwivedi and all former AWWA Presidents for their vision, leadership and invaluable contributions in strengthening the organisation over the years.

Extending her warm wishes to all AWWA beneficiaries, Mrs Seth reaffirmed her commitment to the organisation’s guiding motto—”Asha, Vishwas, Aastha” (Hope, Trust and Faith). She pledged to carry forward AWWA’s legacy with dedication, compassion and a steadfast resolve to empower and support the Army family.
The Army Wives Welfare Association continues to play a vital role in promoting the welfare, education, skill development and social empowerment of soldiers’ families, reflecting the Indian Army’s enduring commitment to its extended community.
