Lieutenant General Madanraj Pande, General Officer Commanding (GOC), Fire & Fury Corps, visited the Forever in Operations Division and the forward areas of the Dras, Kargil and Biamah Sectors to review operational preparedness and combat readiness in the challenging high-altitude terrain.

During the visit, the Corps Commander assessed the formation’s operational capabilities and preparedness to respond to evolving security challenges along the Line of Control (LoC).

Lt Gen Pande also interacted with troops deployed in the forward areas, commending them for their grit, resilience and unwavering commitment while operating under demanding weather and terrain conditions. He lauded their professionalism and dedication in safeguarding the nation’s frontiers.

Addressing all ranks, the Fire & Fury Corps Commander exhorted the troops to maintain the highest standards of vigilance, operational readiness and combat preparedness, reaffirming the Indian Army’s unwavering commitment to ensuring security and stability along the Line of Control.
