Lt Gen Pratik Sharma, Army Commander Northern Command, undertook a comprehensive review of the prevailing security situation and operational preparedness in the hinterland across the Kashmir Valley.
During the visit, Lt Gen Pratik Sharma reviewed the security environment and the preparedness of formations and units deployed across the Valley. The assessment focused on maintaining operational effectiveness and ensuring that troops remain prepared to respond to emerging security challenges.
The Army Commander also interacted with troops deployed in arduous operational conditions and joined them in celebrating the 80th Independence Day. He conveyed his greetings and appreciated the commitment and dedication of personnel serving in demanding areas.
Addressing the troops, Lt Gen Pratik Sharma exhorted all ranks to sustain a high operational tempo and remain vigilant at all times. He emphasised the importance of continuously sharpening operational skills and maintaining high standards of training and preparedness.
