On the occasion of the 80th Independence Day, talented athlete and Sub-Inspector Asmita Dey of Uttar Pradesh Police was honoured with the DGP Commendation Disc (Gold) at Police Headquarters in recognition of her outstanding achievements in sports.
Asmita Dey was also presented with a commemorative memento as a special mark of appreciation for her accomplishments and contribution to bringing recognition to the police force and the state through sporting excellence.
Associated with Uttar Pradesh Police, Asmita has demonstrated that discipline, determination and professional commitment can complement sporting talent. Her achievements have brought pride to the force and highlighted the potential of athletes serving in uniform.
