NCC Officers Training Academy (OTA), Gwalior, conducted the Final Passing Out Parade of the PRCN JW-117 Course, marking the successful completion of training for 129 Associate NCC Officers (ANOs) and Group Commanders/Instructors (GCIs).
The ceremonial parade was reviewed by Lt Gen Anindya Sengupta, GOC-in-C, Central Command. Lt Gen Virendra Vats, Director General, NCC, and Brig Sanjay Kumar Yadav, Commandant, NCC OTA, Gwalior, also graced the occasion.

The parade marked the culmination of an intensive period of training focused on developing leadership, discipline, professional competence and a strong sense of responsibility among the participants.
The newly commissioned ANOs and GCIs will now assume an important role in the NCC ecosystem, where they will guide, mentor and train young cadets across institutions. Their responsibilities will extend beyond military training to nurturing leadership qualities, discipline, confidence and patriotism among the youth.

The training emphasised the core values of integrity, discipline, leadership and service, equipping the newly commissioned personnel to serve as role models for the next generation.
The occasion also highlighted the NCC’s continued contribution towards nation-building by preparing young citizens to become responsible, confident and committed members of society.

With the successful completion of the PRCN JW-117 Course, the 129 ANOs and GCIs embark on a new phase of their careers, carrying forward the responsibility of shaping motivated and disciplined youth while contributing to the NCC’s mission of developing responsible and patriotic citizens.
The passing out parade served as a proud culmination of their dedication and perseverance and marked the beginning of their journey as mentors, leaders and ambassadors of national service.
