Lieutenant General Prasanna Kishore Mishra AVSM, YSM, SM, General Officer Commanding (GOC), White Knight Corps, accompanied by the GOC Ace of Spades Division, visited forward areas of the Poonch Sector to review operational preparedness and assess the evolving security dynamics along the frontline.
During the visit, the Corps Commander interacted with troops and various stakeholders deployed in the forward areas and took stock of the operational environment and preparedness measures. The visit provided an opportunity to assess the readiness of formations operating in the challenging terrain of the Poonch Sector.
The Corps Commander commended the high morale, professionalism and operational readiness displayed by personnel. He appreciated the dedication and commitment of the troops in maintaining vigilance and ensuring the security of the area.
During his interactions, the Corps Commander emphasised the importance of maintaining high standards of operational preparedness and remaining responsive to emerging security challenges.
