Lt Gen CJ Jayachandran, Chief of Staff, Headquarters Central Command, visited the forward posts of Tripeak Brigade in the Himachal sector and reviewed the operational preparedness and high-altitude deployment of troops.

During the visit, Lt Gen Jayachandran took stock of the prevailing operational situation and assessed the preparedness of personnel deployed in the forward areas. The visit focused on ensuring that troops maintain a high degree of readiness while operating in some of the most challenging terrain along the nation’s frontiers.

The Chief of Staff interacted with troops deployed in the forward areas and reviewed their readiness to respond to emerging operational challenges. He appreciated the professionalism, discipline and preparedness demonstrated by the personnel serving under demanding conditions.
