Lieutenant General AVS Rathee, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of Konark Corps, visited Aundh Military Station, where he reviewed infrastructure and training facilities at the Foreign Training and Military-Civil Fusion (MCF) Training Node.
During the visit, the Corps Commander assessed the training ecosystem developed at the station and reviewed initiatives aimed at strengthening professional military training and cooperation between the Armed Forces and other security organisations.
Lt Gen Rathee was briefed on the functioning of the Foreign Training and MCF Training Node, including the infrastructure and facilities established to support specialised training requirements.
The General Officer appreciated the professionalism displayed by Shivneri Brigade and commended the formation for the Military-Civil Fusion initiatives undertaken at the training node.
A significant part of the visit included Lt Gen Rathee’s interaction with personnel of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) undergoing training at the facility. The interaction highlighted the growing emphasis on sharing expertise and training practices between the Armed Forces and Central Armed Police Forces.
The Corps Commander also felicitated outstanding achievers for their performance during training, recognising their dedication and professional excellence.
Military-Civil Fusion training initiatives are intended to facilitate greater exchange of expertise, resources and best practices between military formations and other security organisations. Such joint training can contribute towards better coordination and interoperability while exposing personnel to diverse operational and security environments.
Lt Gen Rathee lauded the formation for maintaining high training standards and emphasised the importance of sustained operational preparedness.
The visit underscored the role of Aundh Military Station and the Foreign Training and Military-Civil Fusion Training Node in developing professional competencies while promoting greater interaction between military and security forces through structured training initiatives.
