Lieutenant General AVS Rathee, General Officer Commanding (GOC) Konark Corps, visited Aundh Military Station and reviewed the infrastructure and training facilities at the Foreign Training & Military-Civil Fusion (MCF) Training Node.
During the visit, the Corps Commander assessed the facilities available at the training node and reviewed the initiatives being undertaken to strengthen training standards and enhance coordination between the military and civil security agencies. The visit highlighted the importance of developing specialised training infrastructure capable of supporting personnel from different security organisations.
Lt Gen AVS Rathee appreciated the professionalism demonstrated by Shivneri Brigade and commended the Military-Civil Fusion initiatives undertaken by the formation. Such initiatives are aimed at strengthening coordination, interoperability and mutual understanding between the Armed Forces and civil agencies, particularly in areas where coordinated responses and specialised capabilities are essential.
The General Officer also interacted with Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel undergoing training at the facility. The interaction provided an opportunity to engage with the trainees, understand their training experience and acknowledge their efforts towards enhancing their professional capabilities.
