Prayagraj, September 4, 2026: The Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief (AOC-in-C) of the Indian Air Force’s Central Air Command, accompanied by the President of the Air Force Family Welfare Association (Regional) [AFFWA (R)], recently visited Air Force Station Bamrauli in Prayagraj to review the station’s operational preparedness, infrastructure and welfare initiatives.
During the visit, the AOC-in-C carried out a comprehensive assessment of the operational readiness and peacetime functioning of the Air Force station. He was also briefed on various ongoing capability-enhancement initiatives aimed at strengthening the station’s operational effectiveness.
The Air Marshal reviewed ongoing work services and inspected existing infrastructure at the base, taking stock of measures being undertaken to improve facilities and support operational requirements.
As part of the visit, the AOC-in-C interacted with personnel of Air Force Station Bamrauli and appreciated their unwavering commitment, professionalism and high morale. He urged all personnel to maintain their focus on the optimisation of available resources while continuing to uphold high standards of operational preparedness.
Meanwhile, the President AFFWA (R) reviewed various welfare initiatives being undertaken for Air Force personnel and their families at the station. She interacted with the Sanginis and appreciated their invaluable contribution to the Air Force community and their role in strengthening welfare and support mechanisms.
The visit underscored Central Air Command’s continued emphasis on operational readiness, capability enhancement, efficient utilisation of resources and the welfare of Air Force personnel and their families.
