Lieutenant General Madanraj Pande, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Fire & Fury Corps, visited forward troops deployed along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Ladakh, reviewing their operational preparedness in the region’s challenging high-altitude terrain.
During the visit, Lt Gen Pande assessed the readiness of troops operating in demanding conditions along the LAC. He interacted with personnel on the ground and took stock of measures being undertaken to maintain a high level of operational effectiveness and combat preparedness.
The Army Commander commended the troops as well as personnel of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) for their steadfast resolve, professionalism and commitment while serving in the difficult terrain and extreme climatic conditions of Ladakh.
Addressing the troops, Lt Gen Pande emphasised the importance of remaining prepared for emerging operational challenges. He urged all ranks to continue leveraging emerging technologies and adopting innovative solutions to further strengthen operational effectiveness.
The visit highlighted the Fire & Fury Corps’ continued focus on maintaining combat readiness, technological adaptation and close coordination among forces deployed along the LAC in Ladakh.
