Lt Gen Anindya Sengupta, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Central Command, visited forward areas in the Garhwal Sector to review operational preparedness and combat readiness of troops deployed in the high-altitude Himalayan terrain.
During his visit, the Army Commander interacted with troops deployed at the frontiers and reviewed their preparedness to respond to operational requirements in the challenging mountainous environment.
