Lt Gen Rajesh Pushkar, AVSM, VSM, Army Commander, Southern Command, visited Rashtriya Military School (RMS) Ajmer and reviewed the institution’s academic, training and cadet development initiatives.
During the visit, the Army Commander was briefed on the overall functioning of the prestigious military school, which has played a significant role in nurturing young students with a strong foundation in discipline, leadership and service to the nation.
Lt Gen Rajesh Pushkar reviewed various academic and training initiatives being undertaken at RMS Ajmer, along with programmes aimed at the holistic development of cadets. He also assessed the school’s infrastructure requirements and measures being taken to further strengthen the learning and training environment.
Interacting with the cadets, the Army Commander emphasised the importance of self-discipline, perseverance and critical thinking in achieving excellence. He encouraged them to remain focused on their goals and continuously develop the qualities required to become responsible leaders.
Lt Gen Rajesh Pushkar also exhorted the cadets to remain steadfast in their commitment to service and contribute meaningfully to the nation as future leaders.
Rashtriya Military School Ajmer is among India’s prominent military schools and focuses on providing quality education alongside character building, discipline and leadership development, preparing students for future responsibilities including careers in the Armed Forces.
The visit highlighted Southern Command’s emphasis on strengthening the foundations of military-oriented education and nurturing the next generation of disciplined and capable leaders.
