The National Security Guard (NSG) is hosting the 74th All India Police Aquatics & Cross Country Cluster 2026–27 at the NSG Garrison in Manesar, bringing together police athletes from across the country for a major sporting competition.
The opening ceremony of the event was held on 1 October 2026 and was graced by Shri Brighu Srinivasan, IPS, Director General, NSG, as the Chief Guest. Addressing the participating athletes and teams, the DG NSG applauded their dedication and efforts in reaching the competitive level of the national police sports event.
Encouraging the participants, DG NSG called upon all athletes to uphold the values of fair play, discipline and sportsmanship throughout the competition. His interaction with the participants highlighted the importance of sporting spirit and discipline alongside competitive excellence.

The 74th edition of the All India Police Aquatics & Cross Country Cluster also marks a significant milestone with the introduction of Synchronised Diving for the first time in the history of the All India Police Aquatics Cluster. The new discipline adds another dimension to the sporting programme and expands the range of aquatic events being contested by police athletes.
DG NSG also witnessed the finals of the competition, where he encouraged the participating athletes and appreciated their sporting excellence. His presence during the finals provided an opportunity to recognise the efforts and performances of the competitors taking part in the event.
The competition has brought together 26 teams and a total of 627 participants, including 137 women athletes. The participation reflects the representation of police forces from across the nation and highlights the growing involvement of women athletes in police sporting competitions.

The event provides a national platform for police personnel to compete in aquatic and cross-country sporting disciplines while promoting discipline, teamwork and sportsmanship. The participation of athletes from different Police Forces also reflects the spirit of unity and camaraderie associated with All India Police sports competitions.
With the introduction of Synchronised Diving, the 2026–27 edition adds a new discipline to the legacy of the All India Police Aquatics Cluster. The participation of 627 athletes, including 137 women, further underlines the scale and inclusivity of the competition being hosted at the NSG Garrison, Manesar.
