The Rajputana Rifles Regimental Centre in Delhi Cantonment hosted cadets of the Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC), Dehradun, and children from Sikkim as part of the Midterm Hike and National Integration Tour.
The visits provided the young participants with an opportunity to gain an insight into the rich history, traditions and ethos of the Indian Army. The engagement was aimed at strengthening their appreciation of military heritage, national unity and the spirit of service.

The RIMC cadets and children from Sikkim were hosted at the Rajputana Rifles Regimental Centre as part of activities connecting young people with the Indian Army and its military heritage.
During their visit, the participants were exposed to the history and traditions associated with the Indian Army. The engagement provided them with an opportunity to learn about the ethos that forms part of the Army’s institutional heritage.
The National Integration Tour also provided a platform for interaction among young participants from different backgrounds. Through such exposure, the participants were able to gain a greater appreciation of national unity and the diverse social and cultural fabric of the country.

For the RIMC cadets, the visit formed part of their Midterm Hike, while the children from Sikkim participated as part of the National Integration Tour. The activities brought the young participants to the Rajputana Rifles Regimental Centre for an interaction centred on military heritage and national integration.
The visit highlighted the role of such engagements in connecting young India with the Armed Forces and familiarising participants with the history, traditions and ethos of the Indian Army.
