An Indian Army Recruitment Rally will be conducted under the aegis of Headquarter Recruiting Zone, Chennai by Army Recruiting Office, Coimbatore from 19 Aug 2017 to 31 Aug 2017 at Dr MGR Stadium (Racecourse Road), Madurai to enroll eligible candidates into the Indian Army from eleven districts of Tamil Nadu i.e.Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Salem, Namakkal, Nilgiris, Dindigul, Madurai, Theni, Erode,Dharmapuri and Krishnagiri in Soldier General Duty, Soldier Technical, Soldier TechnicalAvn/Amn Examiner, Soldier Nursing Assistant, Soldier Clerk/Store Keeper Technical, Soldier TradesmenCategories. Candidates from Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry (UT)and Andaman & Nicobar Groups of Island who have already applied for Hav (Edn) category will also attend the rally. Candidates will have to apply online only, on the official web site www.joinindianarmy.nic.in from 05 Jul 2017 to 03 Aug 2017. Admit card will be issued online after 03 Aug 2017. Candidates are requested to bring their admit card and application at the rally site. Date of reporting at rally site will be intimated on admit card. - Recruitment Programme. Date and time of Screening of documents, Physical Fitness Test, Physical Measurement Test will be intimated to the candidates on their registered e-mail ID and will also be mentioned on the Admit Card.
- Medical Exam of Candidates. Primary medical examination will be carried out at Rally Site with effect from 20 August 2017.
- Candidates with 10+2 Vocational Subjects are not eligible for Soldier Technical & Soldier Clerk/ Store Keeper Technical categories. They can apply for Soldier Tradesman/Soldier General Duty if meeting required percentage of marks in class 10th
- Candidates who are below 18 years of age will have to bring their parents consent certificate.
- Sportsmen who have represented district at state level and university team or regional team at district level and have earned 1st/2nd position will be eligible for physical
relaxation and bonus marks in Common Entrance Examination ( if passed subsequently) as per laid down policies on the subject. - CANDIDATES WILL REPORT TO DR. MGR STADIUM, MADURAI(TAMILNADU)AT 0030 HRS ON THE SCHEDULED DATE AS PER THE PROGRAMME GIVEN IN THEIR ADMITCARD.
