UPSC has finally published the revised date of NDA 1 2020 written exam which was postponed due to the COVID-19 situation in the country. The UPSC today revised the dates for all the exams and published a new exam calendar. As per the latest UPSC calendar, the NDA 1 2020 exam will be conducted on 06 Sep 2020 along with the NDA 2 2020 exam. Meaning, both NDA 1 2020 and NDA 2 2020 will be conducted on 06th Sep 2020. A common examination for both NDA& NA Exam (I) and NDA&NA Exam (II), 2020 will be held on 06.09.2020.
The Union Public Service Commission conducts the NDA entrance examination twice every year in the months of April and November as NDA – I and NDA – II, to admit the young blood into the regular Army, Navy and Air Force. This is a national level entrance examination. Candidates who are willing to join the regular forces like Army, Navy and Air Force, this is their first step and gateway to serve the nation. After completing 10+2 only they are getting a golden opportunity to join the regular forces. NDA examination consists of 2 phases written exam and followed by SSB Interview. NDA 1 2020 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: Before applying the NDA 1 2020 notification once try to read the eligibility conditions to appear the examination. Because UPSC always changes the age limits and cut-off dates will be mentioned in the NDA 1 2020 Notification. Here are the eligibility conditions to appear for NDA 1 2020 Examination.
NDA 1 2020 AGE LIMIT: Age limit is a very important criterion in the NDA 1 2020 notification. UPSC follows strict rules considering the dates. The dates given by UPSC for NDA 1 2020 are:
- Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 02nd July 2001 and not later than 1st July 2004 are eligible
NDA 1 2020 EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: As we mentioned earlier this NDA examination admits the young blood into the regular Army, Navy and Air Force. It chooses the candidates who completed their 10+2 examination. Please find the below table for clarity:

NDA 1 2020 SELECTION PROCEDURE: To select the candidates UPSC follows 2 stages of the selection process. As this is a national level entrance examination the applications will be very high to imagine. So, they follow the below method to select the candidates:

NDA 1 2020 WRITTEN TEST: To filter the candidates applied from the whole nation written test helps the conducting authority to filter the candidates easily. Exam will be conducted in Pen and Paper (offline) mode.

NDA 1 2020 SSB INTERVIEW: The candidates who qualify in written examination will be called for SSB Interview from the available centers in India.
- Stage I – Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) , Picture perception, and Description Test.
- Stage II – Group Testing Officer Tasks, Psychology Tests and Conference
TRAVELING ALLOWANCE FOR SSB: Candidates appearing for SSB interview for the first time for a particular type of Commission i.e. Permanent or Short Service, shall be entitled to AC III Tier to and fro railway fare or bus fare including reservation cum sleeper charges within the Indian limits. Candidates who apply again for the same type of Commission will not be entitled to traveling allowance on any subsequent occasion.
NDA 1 2020 MEDICAL TEST: Candidates who qualify in SSB Interview they should stay 2-3 days more at the SSB Center to undergo medical tests conducted by the board. To qualify a medical test, the candidate should be fit both mentally and physically.
NDA 1 2020 APPLY PROCEDURE: Follow the below steps to apply the NDA 1 2020 notification:
- Candidates are required to apply online by using the website upsconline.nic.in
- Click on Part I and submit your personal and contact details.
- Get your registration id and head to Part 2 of the application form.
- Select the mode of depositing the fees of Rs. 100/-
- Select your center of examination.
- Then upload our photo and signature in mentioned file size and dimensions.
- Then check your declaration and submit the form.
- Download a copy of the application form for future use
