Subedar Major Shailendra Bisht

Various media outlets have frequently highlighted the modest lifestyle of Yogi Adityanath’s family. His father, Anand Singh Bisht, had a career as a forest ranger, while his mother, Savitri Devi, was a homemaker. Adityanath, the second among seven siblings, has three sisters and four brothers.

Shashi Payal, one of his sisters, operates a tea and snack shop near the Mata Bhuvaneshwari Devi Temple in Pauri Garhwal. The Chief Minister, who was born on June 5, 1972, in the small village of Panchur in the Pauri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand, infrequently visits his family. He moved to Gorakhpur in 1993.
