During her address, President Murmu praised the NDA as a premier institution for leadership and warrior training, highlighting its significant role in the nation’s defense sector. She emphasized the importance of the training and values imparted by the NDA, encouraging cadets to embrace new technologies and prepare for future challenges with courage and integrity.

A notable moment was the inclusion of women cadets in the parade’s marching contingent, a first for the NDA, which the President hailed as a historic milestone. She expressed her belief that these women cadets will play a pivotal role in elevating the NDA and the nation.

Further, President Murmu reiterated the importance of safeguarding India’s borders and internal security for maintaining peace and prosperity. While embracing the principle of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ (the world is one family), she assured that the Indian forces are well-prepared to counter any threats to the nation’s unity and integrity.
