Samanvay Conference Strengthens Bonds Between Navy Foundation and Veteran Sailors Forum

In a significant initiative aimed at fostering camaraderie and collaboration within the naval community, the Navy Foundation (NF) Chapters and the Veteran Sailors Forum (VSF) Charters came together for a formal deliberation known as โ€œSamanvay.โ€

The event, held on March 22, 2024, at the Swarnajyoti Conference Hall, Eastern Naval Command (ENC) in Visakhapatnam, witnessed the convergence of more than 50 veterans from both organizations under the chairmanship of Chief Petty Officer (CPS).

Samanvay served as a platform for office-bearers and representatives from the Navy Foundation and the Veteran Sailors Forum to engage in constructive dialogue and exchange ideas on matters of mutual interest.

The conference aimed to strengthen the bonds between the two esteemed organizations and explore avenues for collaboration in various areas related to the welfare and well-being of naval veterans.

The deliberations at Samanvay encompassed a wide range of topics, including initiatives for the welfare and support of retired naval personnel, avenues for skill development and employment opportunities post-retirement, and measures to enhance the quality of life for veterans and their families.

Participants engaged in fruitful discussions, sharing insights and experiences, and charting a course of action to address common challenges and concerns faced by the naval community.

The event also provided an opportunity for veterans to reconnect with former comrades-in-arms, reminisce about their shared experiences in the navy, and forge new friendships. The camaraderie and solidarity displayed during Samanvay underscored the deep bonds of brotherhood that exist among naval personnel, transcending ranks and generations.

Chief Petty Officer (CPS), in his capacity as the chairman of the conference, commended the participants for their active participation and valuable contributions to the discussions.
