In a significant demonstration of India’s military readiness, the commander of the Vajra Corps, also known as XI Corps, visited the Panther Division to assess the operational preparedness of the troops.
This corps, a pivotal strike formation of the Indian Army under the Western Command, is stationed in Jalandhar, Punjab, and famously nicknamed the “Defenders of Punjab.”
During the visit, a monumental 108 feet Tricolour was installed and hoisted at the Amritsar Cantonment in a collaborative effort with the Flag Foundation of India. This event not only symbolizes national pride but also boosts the morale of the forces stationed there.
The commander expressed his appreciation for the high level of motivation observed among all ranks of the troops.
The installation of the flag and the review of the Panther Division’s readiness underscore the ongoing efforts to maintain the operational capabilities of the Indian Army at optimal levels, ensuring the defense and security of the region remains robust.
