Vice Admiral G Srinivasan Commends Graduates of Marine Propulsion Control Technology Course at MILIT, Pune

Vice Admiral G Srinivasan, Director General Naval Projects (DGNP) in Visakhapatnam, delivered a stirring valedictory address at the Marine Propulsion Control Technology Course (MPCTC 74) graduation ceremony held at the Maritime Institute of Learning and Training (MILIT) in Pune. The course saw the successful completion of 35 officers, including 12 from friendly foreign countries such as Namibia, the Philippines, and Sri Lanka.

Marine Propulsion Control Technology Course

During the ceremony, Vice Admiral Srinivasan highlighted the critical role of engineering technology in the operational readiness and efficiency of maritime assets. He commended the graduates for their dedication and hard work, urging them to apply the fundamental principles of engineering technology mastered during their training to enhance their future naval assignments.

Marine Propulsion Control Technology Course

The Vice Admiral took the opportunity to felicitate meritorious students for their exceptional performance throughout the course. Sub Lieutenant Ayush Thakur was honored as the best all-rounder officer, while Sub Lieutenant Hariharan KK was recognized for standing first in overall merit. Additionally, Lieutenant HASV Happurachchi from the Sri Lanka Navy received accolades as the best international officer on the course, highlighting the inclusive and diverse nature of the training program.
