Cmde Sumeet Singh Sodhi, an Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) specialist, brings a wealth of experience to his new role. His illustrious career includes:
- Commanding Submarines and Ships:
- Former Commanding Officer of INS Sindhuraj, a Kilo-class submarine.
- Commanded INS Teg, a state-of-the-art guided-missile frigate.

- Served as the Officer-in-Charge (OiC) Submarine Rescue Unit (East), showcasing expertise in submarine safety and rescue operations.
