Deputy Commandant Akhilesh Rana of the Border Security Force (BSF) has once again demonstrated exceptional endurance by surpassing the 100-kilometer mark in the grueling 12-hour stadium run organized by Tuffman India from March 1st to 2nd, 2025, in Chandigarh. ​
Running relentlessly in a continuous loop for 12 hours, Rana exemplified unwavering determination, unyielding perseverance, and extraordinary mental resilience. His achievement not only showcases individual athleticism but also reflects the high standards of physical fitness upheld by the BSF.​
The Director General of the BSF lauded this commendable feat, highlighting it as a testament to the dedication and resilience inherent in the force’s personnel. Rana’s accomplishment serves as an inspiration to his colleagues and reinforces the importance of physical endurance in security operations.​
This is not the first time Rana has achieved such a milestone. Previously, he secured the second position in the 12-hour Tiranga stadium run at Indore, covering 103 kilometers in 12 hours.
His consistent participation and success in endurance events underscore his personal commitment to pushing physical boundaries and setting new benchmarks in the realm of ultra-distance running within the security forces.
