COAS General Upendra Dwivedi Reviews Operational Preparedness and Attends Capability Development Conference at Western Command

Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), General Upendra Dwivedi, visited the Western Command from 28 to 29 March 2025, where he conducted a comprehensive review of operational preparedness along the western borders and attended the Capability Development Conference aimed at enhancing the Army’s combat effectiveness and technological prowess.

Focus on Evolving Operational Dynamics

During his visit, General Upendra Dwivedi engaged extensively with senior commanders from the three armed services and the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF), emphasizing the importance of maintaining high levels of readiness and agility in response to the evolving security dynamics along the Western Front.
