Air Marshal Ashutosh Dixit, Chief of Integrated Defence Staff (CISC), visited forward areas in the Eastern Sector on Sunday as part of his ongoing operational review.
During his visit to Bagdogra Military Station, Air Marshal Dixit interacted with Indian Army and Indian Air Force personnel and was given a comprehensive briefing on current deployments and preparedness in the strategically sensitive region.
He commended the troops for their high morale, professionalism, and dedication while operating in demanding terrain. Highlighting the importance of joint operations, he stressed that the guiding principle of “Victory Through Jointness” was key to achieving operational synergy and mission success.
The visit underscored the continued focus of the Integrated Defence Staff on strengthening coordination between services to meet evolving security challenges in the Eastern Sector.
